Notes

Did 6.5 loops. 4 and a half with Scott, and then I started to to feel heat exhaustion. Disappointed but moving on. One aspect I must improve is my self-efficacy when I'm running with Scott. Running a hard workout with someone who is a better runner than me weighs on me sub-conscious and makes me run on defensive instead of offense which makes me prone to have mental lapses that are intensified by the heat. This is the first true Q day where that was a factor this summer and I just wasn't ready. Alas, I will not get better running down and then dropping everyone (plus that is how I get people to hate me) and I also will most certainly not be the best runner in every race I run, so I will have to deal with it.
