I ignored the 95+ heat in Galena as I hopped the fence at Galena high school to run on their dirt track. I was attempting to do 6X 1 mile. The first mile I came through in a 5:06, then on mile two I was at 3:48 through .75 before I fell apart and did an 81 final lap to finish at a 5:09. I tried to start a third one but didn't finish the first lap before I started to feel dizzy. I need to be better than this even in the heat.
