Notes

Planned interval workout of 10x400 @ 6:12 pace with 400m RI. Did about 1.5 mile warm-up at around 8:00 mm, then each interval at 9.7 mph or 6:11 pace for 400 m. Then slowed TM to about 4 mph and walked about half lap and then slow buildup to next interval. Not too hard to do, just was wicked boring. Planned to go outside but it was way too hot at 5:00 - 84F.. Developed a strange, pain in lower left leg,above ankle,,, perhaps a weird shin splint? No problem last night, but have to wonder if TM at 180 cadence is more strain than leg wants?

BTW for Gadman,

I have no particular adopted downhill technique, but am experimenting with a very quick cadence 190+, lean forward and fly. Very much trying NOT to extend or lengthen stride and slap feet. My goal is short, quick and quiet strides.
