Planned Interval Workout as follows:

10-20 warm up

2x1200 @6:28-TM=9.4 (2 min RI) - 6:25 @ elevation 1

4x800 @6:20- TM=9.6 (2 min RI) - 6:18 @ elevation 1

Each with a 2 minute Rest Interval (I walked for about 1 minute then jogged up to the start of the next interval)

10 min cool down

Luckily Lance was running 800's next to me to keep me honest and motivated. I actually found it easier to run the intervals without music. It allowed me to concentrate on rhythmic breathing - I count about 62 breaths per lap or about a breath every 4-5 steps, I cehcked HR at end of each 800 and seem to max out around 172-173 and within a minute drop to 146'ish.

Glad its done.

I need to 20 miles on Saturday... anyone interested in joining me?
