After my 17.9 mile run I decided to swim to give the legs a break. Did 20 laps split - 1/2 as breaststroke-modified Kim stroke, and half freestyle. It had been three weeks since the last swim so I figured I would be crap, but it went ok and even got the bilateral breathing coordinated. I can't get over the endurance you need to go non-stop, but I greatly reduced the rests at each length. Not sure of the time, but I was at the pool for about 45-50 minutes... I really don't care at this point the time per lap or length. Need to get to the pool at least 2x per week along with the bike 2 times per week. Getting a little stronger ever day.... (sounds like a Chicago song!)
