if the goal of this run was to completely break me down...it worked. im so tired and beaten right now and mother nature did not help this morning.

Training Plan Entry

Long

18 mi

2:30 Long (hilly if possible) run. One goal today would be to accumulate as much climbing as possible. Over the next few months I want a good focus on downhill running also. Make the downs at comfortably fast pace with gentle foot plants and relaxed legs. Let your legs ‘roll’ down the hill.

The ups are controlled and rhythmic with a natural gate. Volume is the goal today. HR goal for much of this is 140-150, never over 160.
