Index: 4. After a very slow three-mile warmup, I ran the following six half-mile intervals:
1) 3:22
2) 3:26
3) 3:20
4) 3:17
5) 3:14
6) 3:15
It was nice to get back into some speedwork, but I must confess it was not as easy as I would have liked. I was very encouraged with my ability to breathe. I definitely noticed a difference in my aerobic conditioning. I did have some muscle fatigue though (but perhaps that was just some lingering effects from Saturday's 18-miler).
