Alone at HS track: "Easy" cutdown 8 mile Long Run (lanes 5-8, timed 400s). 4x2miles (9:20, 8:40, 8:00, 9:40). Legs very tired at end (near max distance). Shows I'm not ready for a 10K. No stops at all. Cardio fine, energy ok, but muscles getting sore/delicate in last 2 miles. Could not have run another 2 miles, and could not have continued the 8:00 pace for miles 7-8.
