I did 3 sets of 10 clams and figure 4 before running. My leg felt weird after, but didn't necessarily hurt. During running, I focused on keeping my stride further apart instead of crossing over to try to prevent my hip from falling in. My right achilles started acting up, but no other pain otherwise. My hip did hurt a little at work (2/5). I did try to keep from putting a lot of weight on that side.
