I think this is the earliest I have ever done a long run. This will be really good practice for later on.

I think once it gets even slightly better what I will start doing is getting up super early and starting out on the indoor track, if it is open. Or get out on the roads and finish on the treadmill. Would be good to get in 4 or 5 miles and then come in for the last 6-12 miles.

But this was a very good step in the right direction for a long run. Was hoping to be up to 9 or 10 miles by now, but that will come very quickly. This was better than the previous runs of 6 were a few months ago.

All you need to do is be getting 16 milers of very good quality in and you should be well on your way.
