1k and then 2 by 2X400 with 60 sec rest between them and then 4 min between sets. Really worked the legs today, had not had speed like that in a long time. Not sure why Clay chose to start speed like this so late, but as usual, just trusting the process because it hasn't failed me yet. Times were not exactly where I would have liked, 1K should have been a 2:40 flat but I was just wearing flats and was all alone. 400's went well, they were supposed to be 65-66 so I hit them pretty much on the head. I would have done one more set of 2by400's, but feet started hurting and sure enough, got another big blister on the left foot. Glad I stopped a little early and should heal nicely before the DMR next friday. Happy weekend everyone! :)
