Pretty windy and felt like I was working harder than I should have been. I did not like waiting for the hand off. The race itself well I was either passing people or running alone until the last 3 miles. I caught up to some guy on another team and we fell in stride with each other and that was nice. It felt easy and I just had to keep pace with him. In the last mile I went passed him and then to the hand off. The hand offs went better than I had expected. The course was nice and well marked. The after party was chaos. Way too many runners and most that don't change and it smelt like a locker room for a while. Greg M, Fro and Michelle were good company. Jean Taylor was at our table for a while and that was nice but really a lot of sweaty runners all waiting way too long for beer. Apparently by the time we left a table of men from another running club thought I was cocky. Didn't even know how I ended up talking to them but Greg came in and backed me up and then got us out of there. Shit happens when you drink beer after running.
