Notes

This worked out well. Weather wasn't as terrible as I pictured it to be and the whole hanging as a group thing was great for me. It seemed easier than it should have, and I think mentally I was in a better place with the group than on my own. Mile 18, I was ready to be done but didn't slow. very happy with myself. felt like hell after the race but that's seems to be passing. Thank you to a great group of guys for taking care of during and after the race.

BTW I got a half PR in this 1:37:10

Mad-Mike

You were great out there today.

Egad

Very good job today Alicia. This experience will be very helpful for when you run in May.

Nice consistent splits ... congrats on the 13.1 PR and good racing!

Scorps

This is awesome. You are ready for a big day during MC.

Rob_K

Way to go! None of us had any doubts.

Awesome splits! Great consistency. And congrats on the half PR. Of course, you now have a 20-mile PR. Only question now if whether you'll get a 20-mile PR at Maine Coast. That would be a huge accomplishment, but I would not recommend trying only because Maine Coast is not as easy a course for the first 20 miles. That said, I see you going sub-3:20 at Maine State. That will be incredible!

You are a gifted runner. Definitely in the same class as Laurie.
