Afternoon run with L., first time outside and it didn't go well at all. Felt some discomfort in first km which turned into moderate pain halfway through. Very hard to start up after stopping, no sharp pain but it was definitely getting worse, and mostly felt right in groin area. Hurt to walk a bit after but not so much on the pull through of the foot. Did some massage after, muscles feel very tight. The stabilizing muscles must have seized up as they need to work so much harder running outdoors on uneven surface.

Good news is I'm feeling pretty fit, heart rate was under control, never above 160 and I had quite a bit of pop in my step as cadence was crazy low, around 85.
