Run started ok but by 5k I could feel my right side start to tighten up. By 7k it was becoming quite painful along upper IT band and upper outer quad. With some steps I could feel a bit of shooting pain down my quad. Running on the windy mud in TT wasn't helping. I stopped to stretch every couple of kms and this helped get me home. Not sure what the problem is but it may be starting with my hamstring as there are some knots and it feels tighter than normal.
