Hilly run in Scottsdale, ran 2 loops, the first with L and then went out on my home, wasn't planning to run fast but picked up the pace. Felt hot by the end with sun beating down. First 4.5 km was a modest incline followed by undulations and then a steep 2km decline. Heart rate seemed ok and back wasn't too bad. Did a small workout in gym after a couple of drinks and hanging out by the pool which didn't feel that great, some pull-ups, dips, goblet squats, split squats.
