Bounced back pretty good after yesterday. Weather wasn't horrible, sun was bright, but dew point only around 15. Took water pretty much every 3K and a GU at 12K and 20k. Achilles pretty tight to start but warmed up. Both lower legs a little sore after. Didn't look at watch once as I just wanted to run relaxed and by feel considering the heat. Surprised at end to see pace so brisk. Was still feeling fresh around 16K so just wanted to make it to 20K and reassess. I think taking the GU early really helped. The last few K were tough but not any worse than previous long runs. Legs were strong throughout as cadence never really approached 180, even at the end.
