ran ok. went out pretty slow (69). i led the race pretty much from the get-go. neal passed with about a lap to go and he was able to hold on to it. ran just .8 faster. i let him get a little bit too far ahead and couldn't quite reel him back in. not too horrible for the first race, especially considering i'm not very familiar with 1600 pace.
