8X500m @3k GP which was 82 per 400. 3 min rest in between each. Darn rain in the morning had us running on the track today instead of Frear.

Felt to me to be a pretty speedy workout. Maddie and Jaime are really good at faster workouts, so I really enjoy training with them because it helps me to get better. We took turns leading (which was tough because this is the first workout that wasn't a multiple of 3!!!), so we really duked it out for who got to lead the last 2 :P. I started the first one out too fast because I was worried I was going to be too slow (considering running 41 for strides is occasionally a struggle) after that we got into a nice rhythm. While the pace never felt like anything too crazy, a few of the 500's in the middle felt more challenging and my legs were feeling pretty beat by the end. Maddie and Jaime kicked the last one in finishing in 1:32, but I am content with the 1:36 I pulled off!

Lift after was definitely a struggle, legs pretty beat (although it is taper week!!!!, so that was a nice surprise :))

Feet were sore after running the workout in spikes, but it was the right call. And happily enough my left foot didn't bother me at all walking around Monday or Tuesday (wearing trainers) after it had been hurting all last week walking. Left foot is feeling fine now, hopefully the trend continues!!
