Great workout with Maddie! There were a few laps in there that were tough so I was really happy to have Maddie to run with. We had the best paced miles out there with the highlight being our 6 min mile that was exactly 45's every 200. The second mile was the hardest of the set with the last mile feeling great! Also, we did a pretty perfect job with cutting the times down.
I've gotta do some old log searching because this year workout have felt slightly more difficult than last year. Last year I never felt the need to look at my watch during a workout because I knew I could always comfortably hit my pace. This year I find myself checking my watch much more often in order to keep my self on pace. I think it is just a part of improving, or perhaps my workouts last year were just easier paces for my fitness.
