You've got sub 3 in the bag! Keep doing what you're doing...nobody can control snow days! "Control the controllables!"
Also, you could have run 1 minute faster at least with a bit more controlled pace in the middle (but I think you know that)! Just be consistent (as consistent as possible while working a full time job and living in the new snow belt :))
Welcome (back) to RUNsselaer!

Thanks! Yeah it definitely wasn't the smartest half I've run and I was a little disappointed with the time. The course is easy in the middle (no wind, slight down hill) but has rolling hills/ strong winds else where. I was feeling good in the middle and thought I'd push the pace so when I lost a few seconds due to the wind at the end it wouldn't matter so much...not a great race plan. The fast middle miles made the hills and windy sections even slower, oh well still ~1min faster than last year.

Feeling a little discouraged, but if you think sub 3 is still possible I'll believe it!! Thanks excited to be "back" :)

Yes sub 3 is very possible, just be smart early in the race. Run pace even if feeling good because the last 6-8 miles you’ll need your energy!
