Ran to the HS to do the workout. They were just finishing up practice, so I think I just felt nervous with all the people around and ran the first one way too fast. I think it really tired me out for the rest of the workout. Told myself to take the the second and third 1600's more conservative, but for whatever reason I would go out with the first 400 @ 6:20 pace and then picked it up for the 6:10 and 6:12. This was making the last lap feel awful, so I forced myself to stop doing that and run better first laps which made 4 and 5 a little easier. Really pushed to get the time for #6, probably worked a little too hard.
Overall: Solid workout. Not "perfect", paces were all over the place, miles were not evenly paced, and I felt like I was working too hard to hit the paces. I think it was just a slightly tougher workout day just because I wasn't feeling as good as I have been the past few days. All in all, got in it and that's what counts.
Oh and the last 200's were so sloww...
