What a blast. BIG fun !!
Bright and sunny at 7:15am in Conway when we picked up my nephew Noah.
Still nice as we passed through North Conway and Bartlett on the way up.
After Bartlett, gray skies and snow for the rest of the day.
It was cold, but the snow conditions were the best i've skiied in a long time.
Light fluffy powder, all day. Not deep snow, just 4 inches or so that was very easy to move through and stuck around all day. We skiied glades, steeps, black, blue... it was all good. I took those boys on trails I would never let them ski in other conditions and they all did great.
We even had Pam on a black diamond which is a rare occurrence.
I told Jake and Noah as we got on the chair just before 4p that this would be the last lift ride up and they asked if we could climb up and ski after that. That made my day.
Not sure how this translates to any type of training. Don't really care too much though.
More interested in logging it just so I don't forget it.
