BLOOMSDAY 2012 - 3rd in age group, 213 over-all out of 48,229 finishers. Sunny day, started off cold and clear, 31 degrees for the low, warmed up to maybe just over 45 at the start of the race, maybe 50+ at the finish? Sunny and not windy, which was nice! I was agonizing over the poor looking weather forecast for a week prior. I'm always glad when Bloomsday is over! It's a LOT of pressure to perform. Was surprised at the two fast guys in my age group who showed up and beat me, since they had never raced Bloomsday before.
