1-mile race, BRRC Festival of Miles, Spokane. On the Mead HS track. Ran in the M55+ age division, and had no competition - 6 or 7 other runners, but I ran off the front at the start and ran a solo time-trial, second place guy was 53 seconds behind and I lapped two of the other runners, who were probably both in their '70's. Could have run a bit faster with someone to race against. Right heel plantar fasciitis has been bad the past couple of days. Tolerable this morning but it didn't makes things any easier. Stayed and watched all the mile races till past noon, and stupidly got too much sun and a bit of a burn.
Splits, eyeballed as I ran past the clock: 1:15 (409 m) 2:41 (809 m) 4:09. = 1:15, 1:26, 1:28, 1:21
