Newman Lake 25k Race. Very hilly course. Beautiful day! Weather was 100% perfect. 55 or so and clear at the start, and 60-62 or so at the finish? Warming up to 80 ish today. I started out of the gate in 3rd place, running totally relaxed, got passed around mile 5 by one, into 4th place, ran solo (time trial) 100% of the race. except for 30 seconds or so - one young man caught up and asked me for the mile 6 splits, then fell back. I was not challenged again.
Hard to walk after the race, pain in left outside heel on the side, and sharp ache in left hip/sit-down bone, and sore front of left top thigh.
