Notes
Ran the first running of the "Dumb & Dumber" half marathon and duathlon in Lewiston, Idaho. I only did the HM. Had an amazingly good run. I wasn't sure I could run non-stop for 13.1 since I haven't done over 10 miles non-stop in training this year. And I've only gone 13.1 twice, once indoors on the TM, once outdoors on some snow and ice, and both times at a slower pace with lots of rest stops. I ran without any water or gel/electrolyte today - did not avail myself of any water stops along the way, partly because I'm stubborn like that, and partly because I was afraid it might upset my stomach.
Garmin 220 had this course as 13.0 miles. I suspect the Garmin doesn't do well under the bridges and around the
high voltage lines on this course, so I don't know how accurate it is.
Weather was nice today, after raining all night. It was 46F, 88% humidity, slightly sprinkly at times but not raining, and the course was wet so that helped hold down any dust. I was able to breath perfectly, and when I can breath, I can run. My left knee behaved itself as well. I've stopped running on the indoor track, and that seems to have helped a lot with my left knee pains.
Weight yesterday morning was 132.0, the lowest in a long time.
