Notes

Ran another indoor 1600 before work. 4 days in a row, faster each day. This was unexpectedly fast. No breathing issues, no asthma, legs and feet not cold and stiff. No warm-up; just hit the track and ran, staying as relaxed as possible, and thinking about my breakfast and coffee waiting for me afterwards.Just 8 easy quick laps at an honest effort level. Started feeling the lactic acid burn on lap 5, eased up to it gradually and pushed progressively through the last two laps. Finished hard, but did not feel like I was starved for air or going to die. Just a normal "I ran really hard" feeling. Did not have trouble walking afterwards, and no knee pain during or after running! Ran the track clockwise today. It was counter-clockwise the past two days.
