Ran the Windermere Marathon Duet-thlon with Andrea, we finished in 3:35:18 and were 2nd place Duet team and 4th place over-all relay team of all relay teams? According to Andrea. It was a chilly and grey 44 degrees at the start, but quickly warmed up and got sunny, and was 62 degrees and full blue sky and sunshine at the finish. Perfect weather for a marathon. I ran 7.47 miles first leg, @ 6:34 pace 49:03 time, and 6.26 miles second leg, 6:52 pace, 42:59 time. Ran in my Ronin's, feet were ok first leg, not the best maybe, and were slapping the pavement somewhat second half. I feel like I need a softer shoe, but that means heavier and slower.
Andrea ran 6.5 @ 1:04:44, 9:58 pace, and 6.0 @ 58:32, 9:45 pace. Nice! First time she's run over 8 miles in one day.
