Windy, not sunny, a bit humid, which is OK but I wonder if it slows down my breathing at full speed?

Ran the Chipman Trail loop around town. Clockwise, 54:58 for the loop (7.79), 56:20 for 8 miles.

Splits: 6:55, 7:00, 7:17, 8:02, 7:14, 6:14, 6:55, 6:35, 0:04

Shin splints and tight or sore ankles were a problem. These shin splints in the AM are an ongoing issue all spring this year. I usually can't run well early. Today, I was sitting for 6 or 7 hours yesterday afternoon and evening, and sitting some more this morning, so that's also a factor.
