I manged to plan my run at the same time Gordon B's funeral procession was heading to the city cemetery. The cumulative effect of police everywhere, massive crowds, and being tailed by low flying choppers made me feel like O.J. Simpson on the run. I think I had some sort of visceral response. My heart rate went way up from the adrenaline release (169), then I had to sprint like there was no tomorrow to make it across the street before a mile long chain of cars. It took some time after the helicopters left, but I was able to get my heart rate back down and have an enjoyable run. It was a very strange experience!
