Easy recovery run. When I got to the gym I realized I had forgot my watch. I decided I didn't want to go all the way back to my desk since this was just a recovery run so the pace and time is just an estimate. Felt pretty good after my semi fast finish long run yesterday. Hoping to up the miles this week and get into 50.

I'm happy that my fitness has returned some with the cooler weather, but I feel like I'm running out of time to really get it to where I wanted before this marathon. It's going to be tough but I'll need to be happy with just getting a new PR this time around without dropping too many minutes. With this low mileage base, I just can't get to the point where I can confidently run at sub 8 pace. If I had to make a guess, at this point I think I would go for an 8 to 8:10 pace. I think trying to go for sub 8 pace in the first half as an attempt to break 3:30 may get me a similar result as two years ago which I definitely don't want. I'll have to reassess again as it gets closer though because 3:2X sure would be nice.
