Ok ok ok. It's the first of the year. I'm at the heaviest I've been in over a decade. I am way out of shape. I haven't been able to consistently run since Ragnar ended. I have this foot issue that I'm not sure is resolved. So here is the plan.

Slowly, consistently, carefully build up mileage. Obviously, lose weight. If the foot problem comes back then go to the doctor again but this time probably bite the bullet and get an MRI.

As for this run and how my foot feels now, so far no problems. But, it was sore a bit after I ran only 5 miles a few weeks ago. Still not sure how serious this all is.
