I haven't done anything remotely fast in a long while because I've been afraid to hurt the calves. So I decided to do some strides to see how they felt. It went pretty well. I warmed up for two miles and then did 8 x 100m every quarter for a couple miles from 9.5 - 9.8 and then a mile cool down. It is now the next day and my calves are feeling fine. Do that is good. I have two easy days planned and then my 31 this Saturday.
