It was raining when the alarm went off, so I went back to sleep hoping it would be fine later. It was plenty fine. After my morning conference call, I hopped on the bike and headed up Collins to Fish Creek, then down Lake Ridge to the dam. Out and back across the dam and then headed towards home.
Beautiful day and not too hot - thanks to the rain. From time to time I bitch about shitty drivers or oblivious fatties on the trails. To balance things out a little - I've got to mention that drivers seemed especially courteous today - and while almost no one was on the Fish Creek - they were all aware and not hogging it up. This made a really good day even better.
Also this was my fastest solo ride to date - fitness is good.
