Notes
Just got the bike back from the shop so they could fix the derailleur adjustment (that I fucked up) and tightened up the rear hub. Installed the new Ergon GP3 grips and bar ends, Continental Gatorskin 700x28 tires, and a small saddle bag. The bike looks and rides really sweet now - I'm not sure what Gordon did, but the shifting is perfect and it rides super quiet now. I loaded the bag with an extra tube, co2 inflator and some tools. Self-Sufficiency++.
I planned to take off Wednesday, but then having to drop off the bike on Thursday and not getting it back until a couple hours ago left me with three days off. Oh well, tomorrow's ride is 39+, so that should make up for most of it. I guess it's better to be a little rested going into to my first long ride. Meeting Kevin, Ryan, and Ryan's nephew tomorrow for the Peach Pedal. Should be fun.
