Notes

Ryan and I had planned to ride the Campion trail near work, but he forgot his bike, so we left work early and met Kevin for a ride on the Trinity trails instead. Nice place to ride. Would have been nicer to have started earlier in the day, but it is what it is. Things to remember - no bathrooms or water at Gateway.

Ryan told me that it's easy to string together anything from 5 to 60 miles without too much repeat. Nice to know for later.

Also, we discover that my air pump has holes for Shrader and Presta valves. Who knew? Ryan started with a flat tire that he thought was low. So we pumped it up and it wouldn't hold air. His new tube out of the box had a fucked up valve. Kevin donated his only spare tube and we got that installed and pumped up and we were on our way. About two miles after we turned around, Ryan got another flat - which we filled with CO2 - but that only gave him another mile. Kevin took off to get the car and I followed as fast as I could. A little bit later we were all regrouped at the trail head and headed home.
