Notes

OHP and BP (I'm swapping the inclined bench with paused bench)

OHP: 65x5, 70x3, 80x7 (1+), 75x3, 70x3, 70x3, 65x5, 60x5, 55x5 (5+)

Made 7 on the 1+ set, so I'll add 10#

Spaced it on the 5+ set and only did 5. I probably had 5-10 reps in the tank. Oh well.

PBP: 70x6, 85x5, 100x3, 100x5, 100x7, 100x4, 100x6, 100x8

I just slightly paused each rep. Maybe a second in the first 3 sets and maybe a 1/2 second or less on the remaining sets. I'll increase the pause to what "they" say is reasonable over time.

The Pain Cave got an upgrade today! Went to Home Depot and got 6 sheets of plywood cut and assembled two 6'x8' lifting platforms with 2 layers of 3/4" plywood and covered with a layer of the existing horse stall mats. They look nice, although my toes aren't used to the taller, harder surface and I stubbed a toe once or twice. I'll see if I learn to avoid it soon, otherwise I'll pad it or put some kind of taper around the edges you can walk up to.

I also ordered some new Rogue HG bar collars and a new 32KG kettlebell. Should be here in a few days. Oh yeah, I also ordered a new Titan T6 power rack - 36"x42" in the front and 24"x42" in the back. Oh yeah, and a new flat bench. Oh yeah, and they had a sale so I added in their adjustable mono-lift attachment. I do NOT need this, but after watching a couple videos on using it for bench and squat, I couldn't pass it up. With the new lifting platforms in place, I'll be able to bolt this rack to one of the platforms and use the other one for deadlifts and kettlebell workouts. After I get another fan, some more storage shelves, and do a little more garage cleanup - I'll have a sweet gym on my hands.

Oh yeah, and the wife wants a mini-gym up in the media room, so I've got to get some more dumbbells, a mat, and mount the TV on the wall in view of the treadmill.
