Finally a day with no rain. Headed out to Fish Creek with the bike to see about some miles. The trail goes under four bridges near a creek. I figured at least one would be flooded, but would make the best of it. Turns out all four were not flooded, but left with varying depths of mud. Strangely, the bridge with the thinnest mud was the worst - so slick - almost wrecked a couple times. The part that was 4"-6" deep would make the bike gain 20 pounds in mud on the tires. I did end up wrecking on the way back - on a slick part that did not look slick. I went down and now have 5 spots of road rash around my left knee and a long cut on the back of my right ankle.
Anyway, it was nice to get out there. But it still needs a good dry week before it's ready for riding. You can tell the city has been trying to clean up, but it's just a big mess.
