Great Long Progression Run!
Shirt was a little too warm - but I was glad I went with the shorts. It was low-mid 30's when I woke up - but warmed up very quickly - it was already 62 when I logged the run.
80oz water + 52oz gatorade + 2 GU packs (5.3 and 12 miles). Energy flagged a little for 5-10 minutes around mile 12 - but the gu pack fixed that. I skipped the S! Caps that I normally take every hour on long runs. With less sweating in the cold weather - I wanted to see if I needed them or not. Turns out I didn't - no cramps.
