Got out the door early for a 5k to celebrate National Running Day. It was a great run starting off easy at a 9:36 pace and progressively dropping to a 7:41 pace for the 3rd mile. It is 88 percent humidity, but only 71 degrees - I like this weather, yet I know most people think I am crazy :)
About half way into my run I looked across the street and one of my neighbors was coming up beside me. It was good to see him out running, I usually only see him walking his dog or at the local races.
