A really easy 3.1 miles this morning at 5:30. I hit the road after taking my daughter to Cross Country practice this morning and wanted to take it really easy. The first 1.5 miles I focused on keeping it easy enough that I didn't even detect a different breathing than a walk. When I turned around at that half way point and headed up the hill that was no longer possible, but I still tried to maintain a very easy, non-labored pace. My pace dropped about 30 sec a mile which was really good from what I set out to do. I was really happy with this mornings run.
This was my first run over 2 miles in my Saucony Hattori;s and they felt great the entire time and didn't make me wish I had something a little more substantial.
