Went out for what was supposed to be a 9 mile marathon pace run. Turned out having to cut it short at 8 miles because nature was calling for the past 6 miles..... even though I had taken care of all that before leaving. Ran it a little faster than target marathon pace. I had to walk a couple times to get back to the house near the end... what an uncomfortable run......
Tried the http://micoach.com from Adidas on my Blackberry today. It seemed to be pretty accurate where the mile markers were, and the final results were pretty close to what my watch said (I hit lap each time it said we had hit the mile so they should have been identical) however, when it told me my pace at each mile marker it was way off many of the times. It almost acts like it gave the pace right at that moment instead of telling me what my pace was the previous mile which is what I would assume and what I would want.
One of the things I didn't like is I can't find a way to go back and look at the splits, however the graphs including elevation are pretty cool (http://bit.ly/bFsj0c). My public page for this workout is here: http://bit.ly/cy8gLB
