(Rolling but feels more down first 3miles, 4th mile had longest hill, 5th mile downhill, 6th mile downish, 7-9 miles had the steepest inclines although fairly short but they don't feel short at that point...great classic course!)

Great morning to run, weather is about as good as it gets any time of the year. After a rough past couple weeks I went into today just wanting to get a nice positive long effort. Caleb and me went out together pretty conservative for the early miles of that course, I eased ahead a little past 2miles and just ran my own rhythm from there on out. The course has 450ft of elevation gain and 460 of lost so it works out as a nice roller coaster with a few steeper up/dwns here and there. 5 and 6 weeks to lock into faster training now!

Great job to everyone out there who ran in WV's oldest race(42 years and counting)!

Great race Jason! It was great seeing you out there. I am like u i needed a good positive race after last weeks 5k and i got what i wished for today. By the way how do u get the VO2 max stat below your entry. I use to see it on mine then it disappeared and now i can't find it. Enjoy the rest for the remainder of the day man.

Never mind on the VO2 max thing it was on my post this time.

Congrats on the win! Solid effort for that course and sounds like you were under control and feeling pretty good, so that's great to see. One of these years I'm gonna have to make it over for another Poca River Run myself. Great event!
