Super fun race (mostly at tempoish effort, I did run the downhill hard (4th mile) and tried to keep that effort going into the 5th mile). Course ran up to Spring Hill Cemetery (300+ ft climb in roughly 3/4 of a mile). Strava had 330ft gain for the race, while Garmin Connect had 378, either way its a solid climb. Glad I got to do this race finally. Largest turnout ever with over 200 finishers and the Capitol grounds was hoping with all the events of the 10-day Festival getting rolling. Also encouraging effort during my early base build which should be 92-93miles this week after tomorrow LR.
Splits: 5:45, 6:14, 5:30, 5:06, 5:14, (5:07 for last .06)
Weather: 73degrees, humidity 69% (although it was higher while warming up, 94%)
