First 8k of the year. I felt pretty good going into it I wasnt sure what to expect considering I haver struggled this year so far. I went into it thinking that I would try and build into it and have a strong finish. The 1st mile was very fast which is always the case here. After that I found a rhytm and got in a groove. At the end of mile 3/ the begining of mile 4 I started to pick it up. I made it a poing to get with Old gill who was a pack in front of me and looked to be dying. I got all the way up to right behind him but he helf off my kick at the end. I didnt break 30 but I was pleased with my effort and thought that it went well
