Wow. That sucked tremendously. It was incredibly hot and humid, and the temperature rose about 5 degrees over the course of an hour.
On a side note, I hate the B & A Trail. I hit it at like mile 3 and my pace went to an 8:39 and got stuck there. Like, literally, I ran two 8:39s in a row. I think it has bad vibes.
I think my pace was better than the pace I ran for last year's five mile though, so I know I'm ahead of where I was. But still, it was a pretty crappy race. But I walked away with a case of Pepsi for third place. Wooo.
