Notes

Thank God for ibuprofen.

I'm proud of that workout. I was about ready to quit after the first 1200. But, I told myself I'm not going to be a quitter like I was yesterday. And I kept going, and kicked some butt, sort of.

Also determined that I just was not built to run anything less than a mile, preferably not less than two. Not right now anyway. I'm just not in the cardiovascular shape for it. Like, my legs are soooo powerful, but my lungs just can't get this whole breathing thing down. But I mean, I guess that will come. I haven't done anything really cardiovascularly taxing in a while. Try like, three months, at least.

So overall, I'm proud of what I did today, although I would have much rather run to Gibson Island and back. But I mean, 12:15, 5:20, anyway you look at it, I need to get my ass in gear.

"Hey, don't write yourself off yet

It's only in your head you feel left out

Or looked down on,

Just try your best, try everything you can,

And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride,

Everything, everything will be just fine,

Everything, everything will be alright, alright.

Hey, you know they're all the same.

You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in,

Live right now,

Yeah, just be yourself,

It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride,

Everything, everything will be just fine,

everything, everything will be alright, alright..."
