For my 3 miles, I ran the first mile at like an 8:26 pace, for obvious reasons, and then ran the first half-mile of the second mile at a 7:00 pace, then slowed it down to like a 8:00 pace for the second half of that mile. Then, for the third mile, I ran the first half mile at a 6:58 pace, then cranked it up to a 6:30 pace for the middle half mile, then 6:00 for the final quarter. It was a good workout. Then I cycled on the stationary for about 5 minutes as a cool down.
