Traveled down to Wells beach with Gwen to hopefully get some cooler temps since we got a late start. Overpaid for parking then took off along the beach headed towards Ogunquit. Less than a mile in, Gwen noticed the Scorpsmobile parked on the side an we hollered out to him. Stopped and chatted with him and his better half for a bit then ran out to just past the footbridge and turned around. Stopped to splash our faces in the ocean a couple of times and decided to cash it in at the 8 mile mark and walked along the beach for the remainder. Just too damn hot. Fried clams at Billy's on the way back. I know, I'm only hurting myself.
